Concert And Event
There is a wonderful energy that can be found at live performances and events. I enjoy capturing this energy and emotion and preserving these moments through photography. Photographing the artists in rapidly changing and lowlight conditions all while they are constantly moving brings up an interesting set of challenges that are fun to work through and encourage lots of experimentation with camera settings. Included in these photos are the artists 'Flipturn', 'Shakey Graves', and 'Mo Lowda & the Humble'.
Nature and Wildlife
With nature being a core part of my life I draw much inspiration from it. I enjoy being in it, admiring its beauty and learning what I can about it whenever I can. Photographing landscapes, wildlife, and the sky are not only a way for me to slow down and appreciate nature but also a way for me to share it with others.
Portraiture
I have had the opportunity to work with portraiture in both a studio and outdoor setting. I enjoy capturing a striking photo of an individual as well as their interaction with the natural world. I'm also interested in creating collages that seemingly tell a story of a person's movement and the passage of time.
Experimentation with self-portraiture, this particular project brings up the topic of anxiety and self-criticism. I used photoshop to blend together multiple photos of myself and give a more physical representation of self judgement.
