Printmaking
Similar to other mediums, my printmaking is very inspired by nature and portraiture. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in printmaking but linocut/woodblock printing is by far my favorite. I love the stark contrast and bold lines this technique creates.
Watercolor
With watercolor I focus on a realistic style that aims to closely capture the subject matter. I especially enjoy painting leaves as a way to learn about the flora around me and practice painting detail.
Drawing
Like watercolor, I use a realistic style in my drawings. The pieces below are studies in setting up and drawing an interesting still life.
